Success Stories

Caesar Hill

Caesar is a former six-year U.S. Naval officer. He spent three years as an enlisted petty officer, completed college while in the service, and became a naval officer attaining the rank of Lieutenant. After his military service, he worked in education, business and social services before falling on very hard times. Caesar came to St. Leo from the Lincoln Park Community Shelter and was among St. Leo's first residents. Caesar is now employed as the Community Liaison for the St. Leo Residence. His duties involve educating groups and individuals about St. Leo's and getting the residents involved in positive community activities, such as a neighborhood watch group that formed to help ensure children are safely escorted to and from school each day.
